Michael Romano, one of our favorite writers, was an avid fisherman and a retired chef who loved to grow hot peppers and vegetables in his wheelchair-accessible garden in Great Barrington, MA. He and his wife Susan worked at the now closed Kolburne School for many years. His love of life was evident in his entertaining articles that have been enjoyed by our readers since 2016. Michael and Susan will be greatly missed. Godspeed.
