The Berkshire Humane Society is celebrating “June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month.” With a different promotion for every day they are open, at the Barker Road Shelter in Pittsfield, and Purradise Cat Adoption Center in Gt. Barrington, feline adoptions will be reduced to $75 for that particular day. The only exception is the Senior’s for Seniors program which is always a $50 adoption fee.
The traditional special of “2 Fur 1” Buddy Program adoptions will apply for cats over the age of one year. There will also be $5 nail trimmings by appointment at both shelters and every cat adoption owner’s name will go into a raffle for an “Ultimate Scratching Post” to be drawn the last day of the month.
